I would go with you there Joe P, the way that Vettell drove in Turkey suggests that there are no team orders in play for Red Bull...if one of them wins then it is fair and square.

ABF...anyone but Ferrari.

Massa should have when he was given the order to let Alonso pass should have just parked the car up. Lets see what the team would have done about that, he was following orders, just misunderstood them

Massa should have gone faster when told that "Alonso is faster than you"

Ferrari had a profit of $334,000,000 last year. I'm sure Mr de Montezemelo really won't miss $100,000.

They know they've done wrong, you can tell by the demeanor of the drivers. Still only $100k to fix a race is quite cheap so expect them to do again and at least poor old grumpy pants Fernando has now found a team to guarantee him number 1 status on like having a fair fight at McLaren.
Sorry Ferando the records may say 23 wins but its actually 21 in my book (this race and the singapore fix).

why does Alonso think he has a god given right to win? bigger cheat than Schumacher imo now, at least when he did the same it wasnt technically against the rules.

its funny how they thought they might get away with that instruction over the radio, wasnt even subtle, could have left it a lap or run wide coming out the first turn to make it at least look convincing. no... not funny, condesending.

Not only that, but with the new regulations in place to increase the cost-effectiveness of the sport they're quids-in on what they're saving from that as well! ???

Apparently they're still being investigated by the governing body so hopefully something far more appropriate like losing points/places or disqualification will be enforced. Shan't hold out too much hope though.

An example needs to be made of them this time.

They should be disqualified from the race today, have the points removed and the win expunged from the record book.

Cheats should never prosper, as a result of this shameful performance I don't think I could ever bring myself to drive a Ferrari...they have lost a potential customer!

FIA (Ferrari International Assistance) need to be tougher on Contracts between teams & drivers, make sure there are NO team orders relating to position related issues for the first 75% of the races. IMO anytime after that if a driver is chasing the title then it should be OK for a team mate to allow the other one to pass...afterall its a team sport not just an individual sport.

did he really have a fair fight at mclaren though? obviously there was nothing as blatantly obvious as this and as ridiculous, but id say that mclaren favoured hamilton as their golden boy

Absolute disgrace. 100K fine? What the f*** is the point of that. A bit like fining you or I 10p. Ferrari should be stripped of the points garnered today.

I don't think it would be fair to have one rule for the first 3/4 of the season, and then change it.
Personally I think what Ferrari did should be within the rules (although given it's currently forbidden I think they should have been disqualified from today's race). From memory one of the main reasons the situation blew up when Barrichello let Schumacher through a few years back was because of the money gambled on the sport. Perhaps at the start of the season, or even before each race, teams should have to nominate a number one and a number two driver so that people know when push comes to shove one driver might be allowed to pass the other (or they could specify that there are no team orders).
As you say, if the title is on the line, I would expect any team to do what Ferrari did today.
