100% . He was absolutely integral to our early season form. Some of our passing in and around the box was beautiful and it all flowed through Danny
Exactly this ^
Danny up front, Joel at the back.
We struggle without one, we're woeful without either. In such a young & brittle team, we need someone else to step up (or come in) sharpish if we're to compete at the level we want to

My Leeds supporting mate still things hes shit
He's a type of striker that is often underrated IMO - bit like Emile Heskey. Doesn't always score loads but great for hold up and passing/movement etc, and brings the best out of the players round them.

Love Rutter.

He's slotted in absolutely seamlessly, seems to be loving life here and definitely has the potential to be a big player for us moving forw-oh he's gone to Chelsea.

Was fantastic (admittedly against Championship opposition) on Saturday. Great runs, dribbling and team play as well as the two goals. There's a great player in there and I can see why we met the release clause.

Those two had a big embrace when Georginio came off. Sometimes, you just click with another player and operate on the same wavelength. Those two are perfectly in sync when playing together, so much so that it might be best to play Pedro at left wing to allow Welbz and Georginio the No.9 and No.10 roles even though Pedro is the best No.10.
I agree with this. And whisper it, but Mitoma is not at his peak and would be a great option off the bench.

I loved how he received JPvH’s difficult pass, drove forward with impressive speed, did a dribble and played a sumptuous through ball that Welbz wisely dummied.
I had also assumed that Danny knew he was offside but it turns out it was Solly who tipped him off:

At first it appeared that Gruda’s pass might reach the offside Danny Welbeck until Solly gave him a shout. “Yes, I don’t know if he was offside so I just said ‘You’d better leave it to me’ and I thought ‘I’m just going to hit it’,” he said. “Perfect really, wasn’t it? A sweet strike.”
