1). Holding an election just after you've triggered A50 isnt a sign of a government wanting to get on with things. Quite the opposite.
2) The EU will, and quite rightly, do what it needs to do to ensure the best deal for its members. I would expect the UK to do the same. When Remainers have commented on the result we've been called Remoaners and told "get over it, you lost." If the UK "suffers" from these negotiations may I suggest you stop whinging? get over it? You lost? May has said walking away with no deal is an okay option so bearing this in mind how will you suffer? Please explain.
Who do I believe?, my Prime Minister or a bunch of faceless EU bureaucrats who have form on turning over democratic results when things don't go their way, I think I will stick with my Prime Minister thank you very much.
I won't suffer because I get off my arse go to work and earn money so I don't need to struggle, simple. There will always be work end of.
One cannot make an omelette without breaking eggs. Nobody said this process was going to be easy, and obviously the 'rejected' bureaucratic band were going to make things as tough as they can, for appearance against any other potential leavers more than anything.
History will still prove this to be the correct mandate, although there will be some tough days ahead in the short term.
Time for the Bulldog Spirit to shine through, the EU mob are showing their true faces now.

Do you really believe that bollox?
I think the Government's approach to negotiating a break with the EU is, We're going to cut off our nose, to spite our face.
What an absolute mess, the blind leading the naive, to the worst possible outcome of a process based on jingoistic bluster.
We will become the laughing stock of the civilised world.
Guten Tag mein Herr,
Perhaps we should start off the negotiations with ur weakest offerin the hope that the EU will allow us to harden up as we go along. When you sell a car you ask for the best price and will concede on price if you need of the money or are able to swallow the difference. Basic skills of negotiations, thats a fail by Lucas ( using her powerbase of one MP) , Farron (what a wet), Sturgeon (in for a shock) and Corbyn (OMG what a disaster).
Its going to be tough on both sides, but better to keep your mouth shut and let people think your an idiot, than to open it and remove all doubt. We're coming out its not about the economy to me its about being governed by the Germans. Who did Junkers ring seconds after leaving No 10, not the Dutch, Spanish, Irish, Italian, Greek etc,etc but Mrs Merkel. You place a no one as the head of the EU and play him like a puppet. Again, the British people see it for what it is. Merkel cosying up to Putin and failing to back our stance on Syria, why could that be? Because they get 70% of their oil/gas from Russia, whose pulling her chain. The EU a major player on the world scene, whats its policy on Syria?
And by the way Mrs Merkel you need to keep up your payments to NATO instead of considering a weak inneffectual EU Army.
I hope that bloody woman gets even harder on the EU!!
After the result of the EU referendum, whether you agreed or not, it soon became obvious that if we did this as a split nation then mayhem might follow. Similar to Trump, people are praying for failure even if it means their own country is in similar disarray.
I have voted well Left of centre all of my life, yet anyone who would allow Corbyn or Abbott within 100 miles of any Brexit negotiations needs some help.
Be careful what you wish for.
I think something so serious as Brexit should be handled by a cross party body. The referendum was so marginal it's perfectly valid to do this.

Do you honestly think that would work in reality, people wanting to remain forming part of an exit negotiation?
If I was selling a car, or anything for that matter, and someone came along first telling me they were difficult and then making serious accusations about my conduct I know what I would do and it would not be offering a decent deal. Far from it.
Was Mrs May not on the remain side pre referendum but has now changed clothes to a hard leaver
Thats very clear, I just hope the EU negotiators are listening to you, because we are the buyers in all this and they the sellers. They want our money, defence, GCHQ, trade, technolgies and benefits to be sent back Eastern Europe but at what price are we going to pay for letting all this go?
Trust in what we've got, we'll out manouuvre the inept, corrupt, billigerent and unelected European beaucrats.
