Mr Ramirez is now my favourite player in the Premiership/t and as long as he plays his heart out, I for one will hope that refreshing honesty wins over the standard 'let's treat fans like morons' "they're a great club with heritage" bollox.

Big risk on Ramirez.
Prior to the Olympics it was supposedly a scramble between Liverpool and Spurs to buy him, but both showed no real interest.

At that money, that's a big gamble for S'ton, and I doubt they have a fraction of the scouting knowledge gained on European/South American players, of Liverpool & Spurs.
