In order we are: complacent, arrogant, weak, comfortable, fragile.

We have the investment and players to 'challenge the establishment'; we don't have the mentality.

Ah well, we'll turn it around at some point in the next 3 games, get in a good position then flatter to deceive again. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat.

Oh I agree with the quality in this league. Fulham were done by wolves recently 4-1 and even tonight, they didn't play well. Marco de Silva wasn't impressed with them but happy with the 3 points. They are a good side.
Yes. I thought, for the most part, Albion played well for an away match tonight. Two of the goals were just unfortunate. The third, class.

I wondered that we might struggle to put the game away when on top. But felt that is the difference between the top sides in the league and those who try to challenge them.

Frustrating, but Albion now being an established team rather than one that makes up the numbers is apparent, even in poorer performances. And I suppose, in reality, the Premier League probably doesn't have many teams who who are safe in there outside of the always top enders. But Albion look like one.

Result is shit but think we played ok overall. Not the first or last time we've struggled against their physicality and experience. They are mistake predators and were efficient tonight.

A team with a weak mentality doesn't come down from 0-2 v Tottenham to win 3-2 or 0-1 v City to win or to hold out with 10 men away v a very decent Bournemouth side. They do need to learn to toughen up in moments like tonight but a weak mentality is wrong.
Maybe but drawing 2-2 with Wolves after being 2-0 up on 89 minutes, failing to beat a dog shit Southampton side when 1-0 up with 30 minutes left and not beating Forst when a goal up with 15 minutes DOES suggest we have a weak mentality.

It's easier to chase a game and be brave V big opposition (Spursy and an exhausted City team it also must be said) is easier than digging in versus more dogged opposition fighting for a point.

We are weak, fragile, comfortable and complacent. We will never 'challenge the establishment' with our current mentality. We aren't strong enough.

💯 this. They did press well and they have some big units to contend with.

f*** it. Another day it’s not raining (which just didn’t help our wide outlet passes), we don’t gift them a goal and we win.

Game of opinions and I don’t agree with yours. Did what a defensive midfielder should do. Kept the ball moving made interceptions and made a crucial tackle in the box.
So easy to scapegoat Weiffer But he was one of our better players tonight.
I’m hardly scapegoating Wieffer he had an average, non-event 6 out of 10 game - but it’s just funny that has people putting out the bunting 😄

There were some 2 out of 10 performances from an horrific defence (except Igor) and Iwobi played as if Baleba didn’t exist all game.

From the Putney End.... We looked very disjointed. Wingers who didn't use the wing or cross. A forward line which didn't know where the opposition goal was. A 2 man midfield sadly lacking the energy that Ayari brings. A back 4 that did little, clearly in a messwith 3 centre backs. All not helped by giving away a goal in first 2 mins. We play slow football. A bad day at the office maybe but something was off tonight. Let's see what Leicester brings.

As well as the formation our intensity was way off recent performances. I think FH is protecting the players as that was not a good performance.

Indeed and that’s the story, not players having run of the mill efforts

I’m counting down the days until someone describes Fab’s subs as “woke”. Feel it in my bones it’s coming soon

and himself.

Second half versus Stains was a car crash. They took the p on the counter, ghosting past an under manned and weak as dishwater midfield.

Indeed, incontestable.
