After listening to Jonesey on the radio, I am beginning to think he may be the man for the job. He really is good tactically and talks with real passion.

but seriously. did the sleepy face as your post seemed a bit pedantic. I wrote something (which I still believe) and he scored straight after. obviously im gonna own up to looking like a mug and people appreciate this rather than me defending myself to the core in order to avoid embarrassment etc.

Just turn your computer off mate, it's just not your night :lolol:

I don't think 1 game 1 draw can be considered worst managerial reign. A better point average than Sami for a start (before today).

My table is organised by Win rate, then by draw rate (then by number of games played) - since you don't get points for cup wins (and a lot of the historical managerial records included league and cup and it was too much effort to go back and find out which were league and which were cup).

try being a bit more measured before you dive in and slag people off then.

I was just a tad surprised at how many thumbs us you got given you are obviously quick to judge but hey I can't speak for all.

especially DURING a game in which the player you are slagging off is playing (or, in March's case, could be brought on).

Lessons in life, mate, lessons in life ;-)

wouldn't say quick to judge is the right phrase as my point wasnt based on one performance- but yes i agree with you. I've learnt my lesson

Post match interviews are a bit more enthusiastic and upbeat.
"I have given them a structure and they have responded" ...." "I put on O'Grady to force us up the field"..."We had to adapt (!) when Fulham changed formation!
He was asked If he wanted the job and he said he just wanted to get on the coach and have a cider...
He also said we wanted to keep the current loanees and decisions need to be made

Have I missed a subtle joke? Whooosh etc but why is this guy getting loads of thumbs up for slagging off March and then being wise after the event?
The thumbs up system really isn't that serious, he's not going to win a prize for it or anything. The fact was, we'd just scored our second goal and were going to win for the first time in ages, so we were all happy, and joined in laughing at tom for being a doosh.

Comment from neutral friend (Leeds fan) who went with a Fulham-supporting mate: "Your boys played well tonight. Hungry for it". Great to hear.

Bloody brilliant evening. Performance was good (the Jones haters must really hate that) and the atmosphere was top notch. Thoroughly deserved the three points and the passion from the players was there for all to see. Rohan Ince take a bow

Stockdale haters are equally upset tonight after his 3 point winning save

Over the decades there have been times when we were starting to get things together when most decent fans thought 'great, I'll cut them some slack!'. However the noisy minority continued to victimise certain players. In recent year, while the team were doing very well, some fans still picked on Barnes for example. If you want to tolerate the haters, when there's a sign things might just be turning for the better, that's your prerogative.

Back from the game. Bloody fantastic from both the fans and the players, both showed the passion and determination that we will need to get us out of the mess we got in. Very happy tonight.
