Yeah set it as Semi - Professional to make it bit more of a challenge, take it thats probably why thanks.

Mid way through January. Sold Orlandi for 2.4m! hehe! Greer for 500k and Bruno 240k. Barnes has been quality for me so far, probably best player! Offered him a new contract in January so not to lose him on a free. Intend to get a decent amount in the summer to bring a better striker in. Leigh Griffiths is pretty decent too on loan.

Does everybody play this in classic mode or the mode where you watch the games in 3D, out of interest?

So It's the start of January in the 2016 / 2017 and in 9th place in 19 games Dunk has been my best player 7.24 rating in 16(2) games and Demba Ba has scored the most goals 10 in 17(1) games..... This is how my 1st team looks at the moment, I have 1 of each position and 3 goalkeepers, 1st lot are my best 11 then my cover players.

Gk - Koen Casteels - 2MIL
RB - Matias Lucchetti - 3.6MIL
LB - Aaron Cresswell - 2.9MIL
CB - Lewis Dunk
CB - Danny Batth - 2MIL
RM - Emanuele Giaccherini - 900k
LM - Kim Bo-kyung - 4.2MIL
CM - Milan Badelj - Loan
CM - Will Hughes - 2.5MIL
ST - Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Free
ST - Demba Ba - Loan

Gk - Johann Carrasso -Free
RB - Stephen Kelly - 20k
LB - George Friend - 40k
CB - Ben Mee - 3MIL
CB - Derik - 230k
RM - Darko Kalinic - 600k
LM - Joel Obi - 5.5MIL
CM - Adam Clayton - 20k
CM - Henri Lansbury - 1.9MIL
ST - Mauro Icardi - Free
ST - Brown Ideye - Free

GK - PIG (pretty poor now but going to keep him till he quits football, as you unlock something for a player who retiers after 10 years service and he's the only realistic person to do so.)

Also got a fair few youngsters out on loan who are pretty good.

With the help of the editor youve always been able to do so but otherwise you will have to wait until a lower league database comes out as the English league only goes down to Skrill South (level 6) whereas Horsham is Ryman One South (Level 8)

You can watch the games in 3D in both formats I believe.

I'm playing full career mode which as I have a four year old, not top of the range, lap top I was fearful was going to run the game too slowly but its actually quite speedy although I am only part of the way through the first season. My graphics card is not great so the highlights are little jumpy but still watchable.

The classic mode is good, I only played that on last years version, and you can get through a season very quickly but I have gone back to the full version this year and I must say I am enjoying it a lot more.

Anyone else give David Burke the chop within weeks? He was doing my head in, paid him £130k to fack off.

Currently third after 12 games, won 7 drawn 3 lost 2 (to Yeovil and Ipswich :ffsparr:). Ulloa and Buckley have both netted 6 each and Andrews has chipped in with 4 as well, so I am sending my new German director of football to complete the permanent deal for him.

Had a deal in place with Wigan to give them Dave + 250k for Jordi Gomez but Dave couldn't agree personal terms, ended up missing out on him to Zaragoza. Flogged Dave for 950k in the end on deadline day in the hope of signing a cheap winger, CM and striker but all fell through just before the window shut..
Bought in Jobi McAnuff and Grant Leadbitter on loan though and they have been class. Carles Planas at LB is inconsistent but when he is good, he is really good.
Martin Latka from Fortuna Dusseldorf is a very good option at CB, chips in with a few goals, has become a fans favourite and has been solid- only 4 goals conceded so far.

the game has been optimised this year so it runs a lot more smoothly than last year's

only problem you may run in to is once you have a couple of seasons under your belt - might start chugging away a bit more slowly

Do many people watch the match then? I have my setting to the fastest gameplay and skip all replays and video, takes to long otherwise IMO, I just replace subs if needed.

I watch them in key highlights mode, nearly at the fastest speed and skip all the goal replays etc. I quite often go on holiday between matches as well, as I get bored clicking through each day.

Some of you may have been having probs with match ratings... especially full backs..... a new update has just been uploaded which attempts to address this.

fastest gameplay in between highlights - key highlights set to just quicker than lifelike speed as i like to watch the action - any quicker and i feel like i am skipping, any slower and it takes too long

I've installed the instant result skin which adds a new button and effectively lets your assistant manager take charge of the game and just pops out a result at the end. It acts as if you've taken charge of the game so you have to be careful if your assistant is a bad motivator as he could give a terrible half time talk and you'll get stick from the players for it. May want to ensure he's good tactically as well.

I watch the first 5 matches of a season or any important matches and the rest I just use the instant result button, helps to blaze through the boring parts of a season.

I'm currenyl managing a Segunda division Spanish team and got knocked out of the playoffs in the first leg, tipped for another promotion push again this season but we are hemorrhaging money despite being within the wage budget.

currently managing Tromso who are the most northerly club on earth, got to the final knockout stages of qualifying for the europa league, and in the chase for the title at the end of the season - really good fun, but really hard to keep hold of your better players. got my new laptop arriving tomorrow, so might start again, but this time with a lower-rated Scandinavian team, see if I can make my way from the lower reaches of Scandinavia to the big leagues. Bit more interesting than the standard English lower league challenge, depends if i can stick with it

I much prefer journeyman saves across a number of leagues but usually just load the main ones Italy, Spain, Germany and England.

Frutos I'm managing CD Puerta Bonita who were promoted to Segunda B 2 last season. The Spanish leagues are interesting, there's lots of very good skilled older players many more to go around than the English leagues but that has to be balanced with plenty of u23 players due to league requirements.
