I think it would have been the Gardners Arms in Portslade. An absolute dive, and all but deserted. Its where I honed my pool playing skills, the table was only 20p and I'd spend all night on it.

I think it was the Stanmer Park at Fiveways, but could have been the Crown & Anchor at the bottom of Preston Drove.

Bitter at 15p a pint....wonderful days.

The George in the old village Portslade. Used to be very good for underage drinkers from the 6th form on the High Street. Don't know about now though.

Eother the Leek & Winkle by the Level (when it was a proper boozer) or Hectors House.

Not sure which.

It was either The Golden Gloves, The White Hart (both on Seaside Road, Eastbourne) or the Inn On The Tracks (at Eastbourne Station).

I remember my first ever pub crawl - the White Hart was pub number 3 on our trek. We arrived just in time to be witness to a stabbing! Kind of scary - 16 years old. In pub, lager in hand. Just watched stabbing. Giving statements to the old bill.

Considered myself truly invincible after that!

Not sure - maybe the Queen Vic in Eastbourne opposite the Ocean Wave.

Good point of note: it was the one pub I saw "Bring Home the Albion" beer for sale in. Did anyone very have a bottle of it? What was it like?
