First I tried was The Burrell by Haywards Heath station. Got thrown out of there so went up the The Sargison Arms (now The Dolphin). Ended up a regular in The Pilgrim/Golden Eagle

Does Dave Day still own that pub(Long Man/Wilmington)? He used to own that and a few others in the town.

On the way back from Cardiff we passed a Jag which I worked out must have been owned by Dave Day or his son Leo. Dave had an obsession with lions and had a long blonde "mane" himself with accompanying beard. Very Rick Wakeman 1970's (although this was the 80's). His son would probably be about 25 now. I worked out it was him because the reg said something like Day 1 or L11ON.

Good point of note: it was the one pub I saw "Bring Home the Albion" beer for sale in. Did anyone very have a bottle of it? What was it like?

Still got one, unopened.

It was pretty nice. Not sure how the unopened bottle will taste now though. Only one way to find out.....

Started up The Star in Roffey then into Horsham town centre to The Crown, then finished up in Champagnes the greatest nightclub in the world. School next day was not fun, I'd learnt my lesson......... for a week or so.

The Oriental in Oriental Place Brighton

It used to be great under age drinking then getting half fare back on the bus to Mile Oak

Marvellous:lolol: :clap2:

Be careful if you decide to re-visit for old times sake, Knightsworld,
I think it's gay now.
