Couldn't agree with you more Chappers. Found the whole episode brilliant and the end was spectacular. one if those "quiet moments of reflection" in a sitcom. I'm assuming that it is classed as a sitcom.

My signature refers to that moment.

(My avatar doesn't do it justice really)

good f***ing call.

The Mile Of Oaks
Regarding Schindlers List, I think the film is the best that could of been done. Having had family members who have survived first hand what happened, and the camps themselves, any tamer and the film wouldn't of been as powerful and any stronger and a lot of joe publicwouldn't of believed it.
Ooops sorry just realised this is a bounced thread :dunce:

Glad too see you mention Cool Runnings, @ the beginning, Chappers. I thought I was the only 1.
I have no idea why it should be so, cos I can watch & laugh @ Bambi, ET, Lassie, etc etc. But Cool Runnings just gets me, everytime.

I must be completely soulless, but I laughed at the bit in Titanic when Leonardo DiCaprio sank into the blue depths at the end.

I remember being at school and most of my classmates were in tears at Ghost, the one with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore.

:lolol:

When the daddy lion croaks in The Lion King is a bit sad though

Dead Poets - "Captain oh my Captain" when they all get up and stand on the desks

'Good Will Hunting' when Robin Williams does the "It's not your fault, it's not your fault" bit whilst hugging crying Matt Damon.

The end of 'The Bridges of Madison County' when she wants to get out of the car and jump into Eastwood's pick-up.

Apocalypse Now.
The bit where Sheen Kills Marlon Brando.
I was enjoying the film until then and it all went down hill after that...

Across the pond
As a youngster remember bawling at Sparticus when Kirk Douglas got nailed up, in the Luxor in Lancing no less.
In later years, Mrs Doubtfire no less. When he's prevented from seeing his kids. Just touched a nerve as I was so far away from my own.
