Note: The Great Britian rugby team actually covers the entire British Isles - including Ireland. Don't ask me why...

Thats because the Irish republic is part of the British Isles

Heres a challenge for you MYOB go and find out if your lot have ever been world champions in any major sporting events ??? Team Games

Chucked in the Team Games to exclude CYCLING, SHOWJUMPING I see.

Under 19 football, around 8 years back. Brian Kidd's team of the time. Most of whom actually turned out to be crap, but still won the U-19 world cup.

We're a small country. Smallest country to have an F1 team, smallest country in the top 15 in the FIFA rankings, etc. Just being able to occasionally BEAT ENGLAND
:lolol: will suffice instead of being world champions.

Thats not what I was raising an issue over. Yes its part of the British Isles, but why for Rugby League do they use the term Great Britain when its the entire British Isles? One of the constituant members of the grouping that supplies the team is the RLI - Rugby League Ireland association,.

Afternoon chaps, diggers here.

Could not bear to miss this little beauty out. Now I think you all expect me to side with MYOB here.

Absolutely not. You can take your premiership B team and f*** off. You have no proper domestic game, League of whatever it is shite.

Big newsis an Irish based player playing for you.

We are shit in scotland, but we have a league, a prfessional set-up and some f***ing pride.

You lovely boys over the water there would get fecking murdered playing England now. Hate to admit it but I'm afraid you are simply not that good anymore. Keane, Duff etc etc not top Premiership players and would not play for any of the top 6 nations.

I'm now going back to the Google sites to see if we/ve slipped bahind the Vatican state in the FIFA rankings.

Absolutely no way you can verify this without a match being played. Which its not going to be any time soon.

Also, note that unlike 1994, etc, we now have ONE non-Irish born player. The same number of non-English players as England have (Hargreaves).

While i disagree with most of what he's said(or at least with what i've read) i have to admire the tenaciousness with which MYOB is sticking to his guns. So hats off to him.

O)ne more thing. Doesn't Clinton Morrison play for Ireland?

Yes. He's the one non-Irish player

Can't complain while Owen Hargreaves plays for England.

Perhaps the republic is just too insignificant to be bothering with then

Christ sake MYOB grow up and take your irish chip on your shoulder elsewhere. A f***ing Irish man lecturing about racism is a joke. Ireland is experiencing a similar situation as England was 50 or so years ago with a lot of Black and Eastern European immigrants coming in and the ignorance of the people is amazing. here is just one example of an extraordinary quote I heard from one guy recently who had his car failed in Irelands equivalent of the MOT. 'The f***ing bloke has probably never seen a car before in his life, he was probably still swinging through f***ing trees a few months ago'.

I kid you, not, a common conversation in pubs etc is 'have you noticed how many of them (Black people), are walking around these days, they'll be taking over before long'.

Then there is my 10 year old son being called a 'f***ing english saxon C**t' for wearing his england shirt to PE one day.

England has come along way, it's not perfect yet, but your lot have only just started the road to discovery in a multi cultural society matey.

Now shut up
