I remember when there was a big hoo-ha when she commentated on MOTD a couple of years ago.

Unsurprisingly she's not been around the last couple of years.

Primarily because she's an absolute shit commentator.

yeah i agree, she sounds like shes reading it, like shes being told what to say. to be fair, she is a woman, and since when did they know anything about football.

Have to agree with Edna. Female commentators should not be excluded from working in the mens game. Albeit the woman commentating in the match on the FLS was quite poor, im sure there are many women that would make good commentators. Afterall men commentate in female "orientated" sports. Dont tar everyone with the same brush. Just becuase it doesnt "sound right", does not mean it isnt.
