I'm with BOF and the fruit. If I must have a hot pudding it's Spotted Dick, boiled in a bit of old sheet and smothered in butter , sugar and nutmeg. Mmmmm. Just like Mum used to make. I also obtained my Scouts cookery badge by cooking this pudding over an open fire at Small Dole Scout Camp in about 1958.

I'm amazed this is on page 3 and nobody has even suggested (let alone started) an NSC Pudding World Cup. Or even an NSC Food World Cup where all kinds of courses would get mixed together.

Of course Rhubarb Crumble is the answer to the original question...

An old favourite that my gran used to make many years ago was a suet pudding with hot treacle poured over it absolutly fab but now have to make do with treacle sponge and custard.

Just OT read that the pub that Bannoffee Pie was first produced at has closed down.

I started one years ago and didn't finish it because some twunt decided to run a beautiful ladies one BEFORE my pudding one was complete. I may resurrect it now.

If you do (which I hope you do) can I request the ever popular Cheesecake is offered as both the Baked and Standard variety. They are 2 completely different animals!

Might I suggest that you are a little strange? :lolol:

Although a munch of Jam Roly Poly off Jenny Hanleys taut tummy back in the day would have been rather
