Difficult to choose a favourite. Basically whatevers in front of me at the time (with the exception of semolina or tapioca).

As a kid, Butterscotch Angel delight or Instant Whip was a fave.

I do create, from time to time, my own take on a rather passable chocolate and orange tart; eggs, sugar, chocolate (the good stuff), cream, Seville oranges, Grand Marnier (alright, cheap brandy) in a Seville orange pastry.

It's known as a Moorish Tart.

Chocolate and Orange is one of my favourite combinations. Back in the day one of my top selling puds was a choccy orange fondant served with a ball of vanilla ice cream.

I just love crepes suzettes (when I'm feeling posh!)

or zabaglione

or creme brulee

or treacle sponge pudding with loads of custard (when I'm not feeling quite so posh!)

Treacle Sponge with custard, home made, yum yum yum.

This.

Of course we could always try and get Simster to re-open the Dessert World Cup but it will never happen.

Not a pudding type of chap (more cheese & biscuits with a cheeky glass of port) but I do have a soft spot for jam roly poly with lashings of custard as a reminder of childhood sunday lunches.....
