Favourite Pudding?

Sticky toffee pudding, of which there is f*** ALL of in Denmark lol.....

Prezzo of all places do a mean one of these, sticky and toffee but with a lovely airy texture.

Difficult to choose but I will reminisce about a pud that ma in law did just the once, apple crumble with a layer of caramel under the crumble, served with Cornish ice cream and cream as well. I had thirds. Any dessert featuring apples and I am up for it.

Bread pudding fo sho. I mean it's bread & it's in a pudding, what's not to love about that!

On a separate note, I actually quite like semolina, why all the hate?

Black pudding for me, our local butcher makes a really nice Sussex one, but I think I prefer Scottish or Irish from down Cork way, they use grains in it which makes it just that litte bit more digestible.

Passing nod to Irish white pudding too.

peach tarte tatin with cardomon ice cream ,yum

I was scrolling down to see if anyone has suggested tarte tatin. I prefer it with pears, quality vanilla ice cream, homemade from a Marco White reciepe. I even purchased a copper tarte tatin pan to make it in. The absolute king of puddings (in my opinion) and im a lover of all puddings.

Ahem, sweet not savoury puddings on this thread. :wrong:

Mind you Black Puddings are bloody lovely, increasingly the only reason to visit my brother and sister-in-law is the VAST range of of blood based products available in the world famous Bury Market - the opportunities to mock the orange faced Northern Monkey slappers infesting the place is a bonus....

Well when I look at the dessert menu in a restaurant I usually say 'I love all of them' so it's hard to chose, however my number one has to be lemon tart with fresh raspberries !
