It's not an ESCC road. It's a Trunk Road - the responsibility of central government and the Highways Agency.wehatepalace said:Then it can only be down to money because surley escc can see what we all see !
Can't they ?

When the safety measures were introduced along the Firle Straight a couple of years ago, a lot of us locals were astonished that the right turning movements at those two junctions weren't banned.Skint Gull said:If they just stopped people turning right from the 2 junctions along Firle straight it could easily have been made 2 lanes.
tedebear said:I find it absolutely hysterically English that you get warned about a speed camera "excuse me sir, do you mind reducing your speed to the legal limit, I'm about to check your speed, and I'd really hate to fine you"....
Bollocks, you drive the road you obey the rules, they aren't your roads they are the governments and you wanna play on them? then you obey the rules....
British Bulldog said:Speed camera warning signs are very effective in getting drivers to kill their speed so whether they are " hysterically English " or not there should be more of them. As for obeying the laws of the road maybe a few more Mums should take that into consideration when they are driving and parking around schools?
tedebear said:Drivers shouldn't have to "kill their speed" THATS THE WHOLE POINT!! They shouldn't be speeding!! Don't people get it?
Mums around schools are merely traffic jam creators - not killers....
British Bulldog said:And you never break the speed limit yeah?
Mums around schools are just thick lard arses who create hazards for kids trying to cross roads near schools because they have to park as near to the school gates as possible.
