I wonder how much Farage actually knows about football?

“My father and uncles used to go and watch Palace, my son is a season ticket holder at Palace, I follow Palace closely every week. Football is not my No.1 sport, but I follow it. I probably actually, in terms of listening to football, reading about football, I probably spend a few hours a week of football. So, football is part of my life, but cricket is a little bit bigger".

I'm guessing it's their famous red, white and blue colours that first appealed to him.

I’m suspicious, that he’s lying. Again. The man of the people act to scoop up more followers.

But it's where your interest lies, isn't it? You're into football so you know who the England manager is. It's not necessarily a question of levels of fame: merely what your own personal knowledge of the subject is.

Ask my Mum who replaced Southgate and she wouldn't have a clue but I reckon she'd recognise Angela Hartnett. Can you name the current Prime Minister of Australia without thinking too hard? No doubt plenty of Australians couldn't name ours (then again we do seem to change it every eighteen months so you can't blame them) or who have a clue who Thomas Tuchel is.
Far comments.
I think of famous people as household names though, I’m not into cooking or cooking programs but I know who famous chefs like Gordon Ramsey, Jamie Oliver, Rick Stein and Delia Smith are, maybe because they have regularly appeared on tv on their own programs.
I pay no attention to what happens in Australia, so I don’t know who their PM is, not sure what that has to do with this though.

Imagine being the sort of person who'd vote for him based upon his love for Palace

Well, quite. If asked which 'famous' person who I'd most like to meet the response is 'Alan Bennett'. The reply a bewildered 'Isn't he a writer or something ?'

Churchill saved the free world , starmer just likes freebies , do you think he would have gone to watch Crawley ?
Probably but he is very busy being the PM
“I love football – if invited I would love to come and see them play.”

On the other hand, with Barco now on loan to FC Clacton, Farage might be seen in his own Constituency on a Saturday instead of living it up in Trump Tower or Mar-a-Lago

For security reasons it makes perfect sense he would be in the safest place
Surely he should of stood in the away end where he could of been given a few dry slaps by Arsenal's 'stop the boats and muslims' contingent?

Delia Smith’s Christmas dinner pie at Norwich many moons ago ( when the game was called off as they couldn’t find 50p for the meter) is quite simply the finest thing I have ever eaten at a football match

Just saying as we were mentioning Delia.

Yes the country couldn`t get so f****d up without him !

No idea why you mention Farage but tax payers money doesn`t pay for him to see his mate Trump .

Don’t mention on here that pies at another ground are better than Piglets, you will upset someone

I was looking at the two going up for the header and wondering if there was a penalty in there somewhere :ROFLMAO:
