I still don't see where I said that they were connected ? I simply passed comment on a couple of the issues that had already been raised in the thread.

Understood. By mentioning the attendances (something Arthur was throwing into the mix to part-justify his opinion for Falmer's imminent non-construction), I thought it looked like you were agreeing with that assumption.

Sorry about that.

Fair enough, except for the 'Arthur wants Falmer to happen' bit. I'm not convinced about that. Or rather, it doesn't come across that he wants Falmer. If he does want it to happen, what is the purpose in fabricating fantasies and lies about the situation? What does it acheive? What comes across is that he wants (needs?) Falmer to fail in order to prove himself right. What comes across is that that is more important to him than the future success of Brighton & Hove Albion.

*sigh*

Prey tell me, why wouldn't I want Falmer to happen?

Where have I fabricated fantasies and lies?

All I've done is stated my opinion, I know I'm not alone in sharing it. Regardless on whether I'm on bang on the money or miles from the truth what you club arse lickers need to realise is the club is haemorrhaging fans for the simple reason no one want to go and pay a shit load of money to watch crap football at Withdean and people ARE fed up with the on going Falmer saga.

I gave up my season ticket 3 years ago and I've gone from being a pretty much 100%er home and away to 2 games so far this season and the worrying thing is I haven't missed it at all. My one trip to Withdean this season was the cup replay against Cheltenham, I went because it was cheap and my old man had been moaning about not having anyone to go to football with. The game was average, it PISSED it down with rain and generally wasn't very enjoyable. If I'd paid more than 15 quid a ticket (or what ever it was) I would have felt robbed.

It's very noble of the 20 or so of you on here who will swear allegiance through every thing but the 20 or so of you aren't going to keep the club going financially on your own. Coupled with prats like you the club aren't going to entice any of the floating fans like me back.

I expect a reply of "good we don't want people like you anyway" as that is all I've got so far, but the same people saying stuff like that are the same ones moaning that we are only scraping just over 4k for a game on Saturday afternoon.

Fine.

And all this means that Falmer WILL NOT HAPPEN because:

Because little green men will descend from the stars and kidnap Martin Perry and his team.....We'll all be too distraught to even think about watching football again and spend our Saturday afternoons sat in an arm chair rocking gently humming Sussex by the sea!

which to be fair is a far more accurate scenario than some of the baseless comments you've made in the past

Ah, diddums.

Good f***ing grief - you have absolutely nothing to say - NOTHING - and choose to waste 300 or so words saying it. :thud:

Where did you make lies and fantasies? Saying that Martin Perry told us funding was in place. That all of the delays were down to the club, and that the club could have sped up the planning process. That falling attendances at Withdean are directly linked to the likelihood of the ground getting built. Do you want me to go on?

I give not one flying f*** about whether you or your mates think the same about whether Falmer will get built. Bully for them. That still has f*** all to do with the Falmer project. If only you could make the simple cerebral jump to realise the fact.

You are the one making the claim about Falmer not getting built - so why should have to back up or dismiss your contention that it won't get built? It's for you to do that. Did I say it will definitely get built on time? No.

I'm the one asking you to say why, and a dozen or so pages into this thread, and for the umpteenth time, you still haven't said why. But then, you can't, can you?

And what is a 'club arse-licker'? If you end up telling me - like the predictable tedious bore that you are - that it's people who believe anything and everything the club tell them, how does that apply to me? You think that's what I do? If that's the case, you are laughably and embarrassingly wrong.

Again.

Touch a nerve did I?

And I've said numerous times on this thread and the other one why I don't think Falmer will be built in the next 5 years! If your blue and white tinted specs are preventing you from reading my replies then that is hardly my look out is it.

I suggest you stick to selling "humorous" football t shirts out of you back street hovel whilst wanking over Dick Knight's bald patch and I'll continue living in the real world.

Well you've said that "form suggests there will be years of delays", which - given the battles against various NIMBY groups - is rather easy to explain.

We might get the sort of slippage associated with most building projects, but delays of that sort of magnitude really shouldn't be acceptable anymore. I guess at the end of the day, it boils down to whether you trust this board or not. Although we don't really have much choice there, since there isn't an army of wealthy backers knocking on the door is there?

The only reason that I've seen you give is that you think that the delays caused by LDC and FPC (and the other 'interested parties') were avoidable. And accused various people involved in the project of lying. You've bought absolutely no evidence to the argument, all conjecture.

Can you really not see why people are annoyed with you? It's not as if you've just said 'I don't think the stadium will be ready on time'. You have attempted to justify your claim by making up rubbish.

Hmmm, levelling out at insults. Isn't that how you started your contribution to this whole debate.... by passing derogatory comments at Liz Costa and Lord B?

No, you're not intellectually capable of doing that.

No, you haven't. All you've done is re-gurgitate and re-write history. So yes, it is your look-out.

No I can't!

I have just said I don't think the stadium won't be ready on time. And I've stated why I don't think it will be. If people choose to pick holes in my reasoning then that is their prerogative. I certainly won't be losing any sleep over it or getting my knickers in a twist like several others have done.

Like I've said it will give me no greater pleasure to see the lads run out at a new ground and I'm sure one day it will happen but in my opinion those of you that think it'll be in a couple of years are living in cloud cuckoo land!

Well form does suggests that something else will come up which will delay the project doesn't it? I and many other believe that allot of the delays we've suffered were avoidable.

And yes you are 100% correct we have to have blind faith with the board because there is no alternative. Doesn't mean I have to be happy about it!
