this meeting is more and more starting to sound like
"lets all meet up and make us like every other club. as well as this lets make a rota of who does what when, and make a routine to fun!"

its football go with flow, just dont get carried away and act like twats.

How old are you?

Anything over 15 is a lie.

I honestly feel sorry for you. And I don't mean that in a patronising or sarcastic way, I genuinly do feel sorry for you. Someone who has to spend a vast majority of a relaxing Tursday evening arguing on an internet forum and smashing perfectly reasonable ideas, needs to think about their life more. Life may just fly you by, and you'll realise you should have spent more of your time doing something constructive.

Sorry to disappoint but I'm 18. Thanks for your concerns! For my age I'm extremely successful in life and have a lot going for me, maybe i have spent my Tuesday night in an nonconstructive way, doesn't mean my whole life is that way!

Thursday. Thursday night. One day..

the reason i want to have a meeting is because trying to organise anything on here or on facebook as big as we want is impossible
I can't speak for the value of Facebook, but I seem to remember that Fans United was organised entirely on the back of a single Plymouth Argyle fan posting something on NSC.

And that was when NSC had about 20 members.

NSC also organised National Falmer Day - without a single meeting.

It's National Falmer Day - Post Your Stories HERE - North Stand Chat

To inform everyone:

This meeting is for people who what to get involved in creating a better atmosphere and singing section for the last season of withdean and to continue it to Falmer. Look at the facebook page for more info and more explanation.

Meeting member No. 1: Brothers, I propose we stand up and sing, in no particular order, 'Al - be -urn . . . Al - be - urn', 'Good ol' Sussex by the Sea [clapclapclap], good ol' Sussex by the sea [clapclapclap]' and 'Stand UP . . . if you 'ate Palace' all through the matches.

Meeting member No. 2: Yes, thereby creating a better atmosphere which we can carry on through to Falmer

Meeting member No. 3: I was told there was going to be pie and punch!

To be fair to these young’uns all they're trying to do is ensure that the dire atmosphere at Withdean doesn’t continue at Falmer. It's easy to forget that the only home ground some of these lads have ever known is Withdean. I understand your efforts lads but I think you’re worrying unduly. All you need to do is get yourselves in the North Stand at Falmer and the rest will take care of itself.

How many more times do we need to point out we are not 'young'ns only been to Withdean'

It is getting really patronising now. f*** me, my first game was the FA cup final.

Well done NSC'ers. Thank you for taking a good idea from passionate Albion fans attempting to create a better atmosphere and completley taking the piss and f***ing it up. The likes of Accrington, York and even Palace have managed to get a bit of atmosphere going and we cannot even do that without a load of cynics wading it with the sole purpose of ruining it.

To clarify.

1) We are NOT a load of 14 year old spotty kids. I myself am a 32 year old teacher.

2) We are not looking to recreate the steward baiting, celery chucking behaviour of H block. Far from it.

3) We were not planning to be a group of chavvy twats singing fake ultra songs.

The idea was to get a like minded group of people all sitting together rather than being split up around the ground, to get a sea of flags and scarves in blue and white to make the ground look stunning. We also planned to get people singing Sussex by the Sea, in full, slowly - something that would sound incredible reverbing around Falmer stadium.

However, it seems that there is a complete lack of passion to even attempt it by most people, all they want to do is mock. May I say well done and fair play to all those that wanted to get behind the project. Shame, a real shame.

1. Grow up then.

2. One plus point at least.

3. Organised is fake. Go to pub pre match then have a spontaneous sing song.

4. Got it now?
