Well done NSC'ers. Thank you for taking a good idea from passionate Albion fans attempting to create a better atmosphere and completley taking the piss and f***ing it up. The likes of Accrington, York and even Palace have managed to get a bit of atmosphere going and we cannot even do that without a load of cynics wading it with the sole purpose of ruining it.

To clarify.

1) We are NOT a load of 14 year old spotty kids. I myself am a 32 year old teacher.

2) We are not looking to recreate the steward baiting, celery chucking behaviour of H block. Far from it.

3) We were not planning to be a group of chavvy twats singing fake ultra songs.

The idea was to get a like minded group of people all sitting together rather than being split up around the ground, to get a sea of flags and scarves in blue and white to make the ground look stunning. We also planned to get people singing Sussex by the Sea, in full, slowly - something that would sound incredible reverbing around Falmer stadium.

However, it seems that there is a complete lack of passion to even attempt it by most people, all they want to do is mock. May I say well done and fair play to all those that wanted to get behind the project. Shame, a real shame.

personally I dont see the need for meetings in car parks and then not knowing where to go afterwards!!

honestly I think you'd all be better off by taking flags and what not to Falmer games, the idea catches on and on and on and before you know it th etrain has got upto full speed and everyone in the North end is 'Fanatic'. These things dont happen with meetings and organising....they happen almost naturally IMO

Once Falmer is here alot will change, as long as were in withdean i dont feel any meetings will change anything, just get next season over and we will be some of the best football fans in the league as we were at the goldstone

The idea was to get a like minded group of people tall sitting together rather than being split up around the ground, to get a sea of flags and scarves in blue and white to make the ground look stunning. We also planned to get people singing Sussex by the Sea, in full, slowly - something that would sound incredible reverbing around Falmer stadium.

A few things, Firstly, if this is solely for Falmer we are planning way too early, perhaps start saving up cash for flags e.t.c. but we don't really need to start thinking seriously about it until towards the end of next season.

Second, if we do want to do this at withdean it needs to move totally away from H block, the east stand seems like an obvious solution. However people expressed an unwilligness early on to move away from H Block.

Theres also no reason why it needs to be a big group. These things do not need hundreds of people, all the ultra groups you mention began with very small numbers. It would be much better if 10-20 people organized next season that inviting 50 people along. Start small and build up.

The group also needs a very obvious leadership, this is something the blue brigade has, this group has no clear leaders and no one has shown an interest in taking the lead.

Finally, there is passion but posting it on NSC is just inviting people to take the piss, I personally suggest sticking solely to the facebook page or the blue brigade forum or even start another forum, but dont do it off of one thread of nsc because thats bound to get people coming in looking to cause trouble.

Edit: Finally, if you want to start a trend then start now, bring along a flag or two of our own, perhaps encourage your mates to do the same, wave them about and make some noise, if people want to they will do similar.

Sorry to be negative again but the Goldstone was like a morgue at times.

But I take your point

IMHO people just want to know what is the commonly-agreed bit of the new stadium to sit to create a decent atmosphere - so as to reduce the chances of ending up sat next to some moany git.

Now we just about know.

No further organisation required

Sussex, by the sea
it will take 2-3 matches for the lads to gravitate to their preferred area, likewise protective dads, old gits etc . . . . like natural selection or evolution, it'll just happen

of course, a completed ground would be a bonus starting point, and my guess is it'll be the northern 2D/short end . . . . just a hunch!

I think Marc was wrong, its not a dogging meeting, more a laydeees night so they can all hold hands

:clap::clap::clap:

I think we need to remind ourselves from time to time that the vast majority of people/twats that post constantly on NSC are not the true voice of Albion fans. The atmosphere at Withdean is truly dreadful. I admire people actually trying to do something to ensure it's better when we move to Falmer.

That is so unfair. I hate you.

Leave them be, if they want to try and organise something let them. Nice to see some youngsters passionate about our club.

A roof will change things drastically and us older ones wont want to sit in the middle of a signing section. However, when Falmer comes along I will get pissed up and sing my heart out and that doesn't matter if I am sitting in the middle of a bunch of OAPs.

Good luck with the meeting!
