And do you know what’s weird? I’ve been here 16 years and never been banned, suspended or had my posts restricted. It’s almost like it’s very easy to avoid it happening - don’t be a complete ****
Didn’t realise having a difference of opinion or telling some hard truths constituted being a complete ****, whatever that may be. I’m not the kind of person to ever tow the company line or propaganda spin. The convenient narrative around Potter and the collective amnesia is absolute insanity if you ask me. Particularly for a club which relies on its model of succession plans. Seems some fans struggle to keep up with the realities of that process by childishly booing anyone who dare leave the club for a bigger pay check, players included.

But we were told McKenna was nailed on 3 weeks ago by several media outlets, now he's staying at Ipswich.

I won't take any notice re media speculation until the club make an official announcement.
I’m pretty sure the media didn’t say the words ‘nailed on’ in regards to McKenna.

‘Interested’ and ‘enquired’ were the words I remember reading mostly.

The parted ways “amicably” with RDZ precisely in order to beat Chelsea to his signature ffs. Where have you been??!!

I’ve taken you off ignore to respond to the above - I put you on ignore because you were trolling the thread and winding me up with your constant Potter agenda and your suggestion that the Club would have re-employed him were it not for the “collective amnesia” and “childish booing” of fans - even on a thread about someone who could be a really exciting prospect for us and who is a far far better prospect on a number of levels than Potter returning ever could be.

@SeagullinExile was just saying that it was only media rumour that said we had decided on McKenna - which is absolutely true - far more likely than your anti- Bloom narrative that we’d sack a manager just to stop Chelsea getting another one we liked - sorry that’s warped thinking based again on your Potter agenda that Brighton fans and the Club are so angry at Chelsea for stealing Potter we’d let it effect our current transfer business - grow up ffs
Are you so supposed to only believe the media reports when it suits your agenda?
What agenda? @chaileyjem has made 6 posts to this thread ( compared to your 62) and all he has done is provide updates from MSM and sports pundits about Hürzeler on a thread about Hürzeler - he’s not made any agenda ridden comments at all.

I took you off ignore to say I think you are being an arse again and trying to bait everyone into an argument to derail the Hürzeler discussion for some obscure reason.

Putting you back on ignore - please stop winding everyone up and trying to derail the discussion.

I’m entitled as you to express my opinions on whatever you or anyone else posts. You posted about this guy first and are now just backing yourself but to the point of not considering any potential downside. Well done! I have I have no doubt the guy will be a great manager. I’m sure he’ll be a great fit for Brighton. Might be a steep learning curve but if he’s as good as his potential then he’ll find a way. And up the Albion! What I think about Potter has nothing to do with this. The fanbase is clearly divided when it comes to managers so it’s natural that we won’t always agree. I’m not sure what the point of a forum is if we can’t debate without precious adult men banning you, ignoring you or calling you playground names. It’s quite sad.

Excuse me? My anti Bloom narrative? I think you’re confusing me with somebody else.
