well, you simply can not argue with that
I am not holding my breath on that

The MExico Challenge was bog standard cars, a friend ( now in his mid 70's) told me they used to bend the leaf springs in a press and compress the coils to try and lower the cars a bit, all got very competitive. As you say, a cracking bit of footage.
These are brilliant videos too ,

You know that you are talking bollocks!
Three engine failures for Hamilton compared to Rosberg’s none was the only reason Rosberg won and he fecked off from F1 hours afterwards.
Come on Mouldy your RIDICULOUS agenda is making you look a complete MUG
Yet you like Norris and Albon, both of whom are ‘pussies’When Merc were S**T.
Hamilton has a slow pitstop.
Cars flying off all over the shop with little or no runoffs, these guys were truly on the limit.
The great Nuvolari drives with a broken leg. Modern-day drivers are pussies in comparison.

Hamilton the great, should have driven them right and he would have had fewer failures, Rosberg played the long game.

It really is about time you just admit your hatred of Lewis is irrational and based on nothing concrete.
*BTW^ The car is not tailored to Verstappen, it’s been proven as a total myth. Verstappen is a generational talent, like Alonso or Hamilton and so is a more adaptable driver who gets more out of his equipment, the idea Red Bull build a car that suits only one of their drivers is farcical.
Based on what I've seen, read, and heard it's not a myth. There's two approaches a team can take: try to build a car that they believe is quick and hope the drivers can get the most out of it, or design a car that will be quick in the hands of the drivers they have.
Red Bull have a track record of doing the latter, and they favour their #1 driver when they do it. They openly admitted they chose development options Vettel preferred over those Webber was happier with.
And the problems they have with the 2020 car have their roots in Verstappen's strength on corner entry. Max likes to turn in late, square off the corner. To maximise that he needs a car with a planted front end and a rear end that both 'sticks' but also facilitates rapid rotation to get the car turned. Its why RB continue with the high rake concept.
The problem is, if you go too far down that route it can create an aero stall condition that can cause the rear to snap away ... exactly as we saw happening in the early races with both drivers.
Verstappen, as a once generational driver, has learned to tame it. Albon didn't. But even Verstappen admitted at the end of the season that the car remains problematic.

I’ve researched it and Horner and Marko have both said it’s not true, both drivers are given equal equipment
The Red Bull ‘Number 2 Driver’ seat is a poisoned chalice.
Webber
Ricciardo
Gasly
Albon
Have all had a miserable time. Personally I think it’s a combination of an ethos to build the team around one driver, and C Horner being a massive tool / douchebag.

Not sure how Perez will do in that scenario but I guess he’s lucky to get into a decent car for next season whatever the circumstance.
The driver line ups etc should make next season reasonably interesting but it may be more about the battle between the 2nd tier teams - Ferrari, RB, Aston, McLaren, Renault- assuming LH dominates another season with Merc.
Good point re RB but having seen the way Perez reacted to being dumped for Daddy’s boy and Vettel I think he may be a different kettle of fish to the drivers mentioned. He doesn’t appear to have a massive ego or lose his cool in adversity. I think he might surprise everyone, hope so
What sort of repair, engine gearbox, bodywork?I have driven ( gently) and been taken for a very spirited drive in a race prepared ex works Talbot 105, Christ on a bike they are good for such an old bus. Preselector gearbox which is very slick.
Also helped repair a 1930 RIley Sprite at LMC, took it for a test drive ( sneaky lap) got up to a speed on the Mulsanne where my eyes wouldn't stay open, over 100 mph, Very exciting, bonkers dangerous to race on the limit.
Very different beasts driven by Gentlemen in very different times

Sounds fun, lucky you. How were the brakes and handling?
Silly stuff, and ignition woes.
B&H generally very good. But the cars are bettter prepared now than they ever were new. And it's all relative.
Of course, I would prefer it if they kept them 100% original to the days they were racing. Shame they can't race on the same surfaces too!
