After a good twenty minutes of gently ribbing Shearer because Salah's broken one of his records.

Excellent start for the Mardy from Lombardy - Brest are good.
The first twenty minutes, after that we were a match, by the time Young got sent off we were well in charge. Got sick and tired with one of the commentators constantly claiming we were lucky with the penalty and how that would have changed the game. Frigging egit that penalty call is precisely why we need VAR, it prevented a clear and obvious error.

He had a shaky game at times BUT he's coming back from injury so it'll take time for him to get up to speed.
Even better that we still insisted on taking him off. A grown up decision about a players health in football for once. Proud of our medics and coaching staff.

Dodgy first twenty minutes of first half, settled into passing routine. Minteh clattered and taken off as a precaution.
Dodgy five minutes second half, then we were good.

I get the impression their fans are still a bit miffed about last season. Booing after the 1st game seems somewhat harsh! I'm very excited for our season now! Roberto who? Well done lads (& Milner
