Nice to start with a win, they’ll have more idea about the system after that as well. Danny looks full of confidence and Minteh was a real handful.
Everton looked very poor at times, a bit too fixated on the long diagonal out to Harrison who invariably wasted the crossing opportunities. Pickford and his little arms aided goals two and three.

Bit shaky at times in the first half but you don't get much more comfortable than that for the last 35. Welbz absolutely timeless, Minteh superb, Mitoma looking threatening again, JP bossing it at the back. Great cameo from Adingra as well.

Everton were a handful in the first half but we soon took control. Great win with intelligent use of subs. Thought Webster looked great when he came on. I have a feeling we’ll see more of him this season.
