Minteh is f***ing class isn't he. Put the goal on a plate, did the defensive dirty work and put his neck on the line to make that huge challenge. What a signing.

Decent first half, all things considered.
A bit of nerves and uncertainty to begin with. Luckily it's only Everton otherwise we would have been a goal down early on, at least.
Mitoma looking as dangerous as ever, great to have him back.
Minteh looks quality again. Shame he had to go off, but it was the right decision.
We look so dangerous when we approach the opposition box, with overloading and slick passing.
Hopefully we can come out in the 2nd half full of confidence and put this one to bed.

Still I think you know what I meant. They play long balls continuously and when we have it they use extreme physicality by playing man AND ball!...

If they learn to stop doing that then it's a good thing. Also you shouldn't take medical advice from someone with a head injury as the injury can cause unreliable responses. Good to see the medical team do the right thing
we spent 250k to release him from his contract, which indicates that we believe in his professionalism. I'm glad we have someone who cannot be persuaded by players saying they are fine, as nearly every player says they're fine.
He won't be doing that again then. Maybe all teams should do that - hold your head, subbed. Going down for 'head injuries' to waste time would disappear overnight.
I think we're also a bit more willing to boot the ball out rather than try and keep possession for possession's sake as we did to our cost a few times last season.
