Not real people in Rome, pah, did you only visit the Vatican city? Rome has the energy and bustle of a proper city, Naples is full of surly crooks skulking around waiting for an opportunity to mug you.


Incidentally robbed twice, nearly stabbed do you look really weedy to Italians or something.

Exactly there's plenty of real people in Rome, just that there are a lot of tourists as well. My brother lives there I've been to loads of local bars, watched football in Italian places eaten at restaurants where there havent been tourists.

Not sure if you include this as a city, but San Marino is a quality place. It has the most amazing Ferrari factory.
