Verona (best food in Italy)
Antwerp (best beer in the world - as pointed out above, Brussels is also a good bet)
Edinburgh (great city)
Porto (they make port there - need I say more?)
Ljubljana (like Prague but without the tourists)

how you can say a city like Antwerp is nicer than say.,...Brighton I will never know. It's a dodgy diamond smuggling port! nice red light district mind

Adelaide, SA
For Lads weekends etc ..

Krakow -- (Great place and not the typical Eastern european rip off)
Edinburgh -- (Good nights to be had up there - pubic triangle after a few)
Newcastle -- (Just a really good Saturday night venue)
Tallin -- Different !
Amsterdammed -- Obvious
5th =
Stokholm - Just for the gash really, top class
Moscow - As above, but watch the Mafia

Budapest as said before is a total rip off, full of bad quality brasses and not a lot of night life choice.

Prague a bit better than Budapest, but still simular

How anyone can rate Naples above Rome is a Mystery to me.

Anyway, in no particular order;

Rome
Seville
Barcelona
Edinbrough
Istanbul

and close but not European - Marrakesh.

No, no, no.

Merthyr Tydfil
Pontypridd
Ebbw Vale
Port Talbot
And, er, Linz in Austria (got hopelessly lost in an industrial estate there once and have despised the place ever since).

For a start, Naples is full of real people. Rome is half full of tourists.

I've been robbed in both. And I nearly got knifed in Naples. But, even so, it's Naples every time. But I concede it might not be a place for people of a nervous disposition.

And who could argue with the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius being a superb backdrop for a city? Rome could be anywhere. It has no surrounding scenery. And the traffic!

That was one of my favourite things, wide open racetracks,no lines and optional traffic lights!

Not real people in Rome, pah, did you only visit the Vatican city? Rome has the energy and bustle of a proper city, Naples is full of surly crooks skulking around waiting for an opportunity to mug you.

Incidentally robbed twice, nearly stabbed do you look really weedy to Italians or something.
