Quotes "I'm not going to bother responding to your posts any more because you have failed to engage on any substantive point you have made. You've mis-used numbers and when confronted with that have ignored the response only to mis-use them again. " and "You've blamed the EU for the UK's immigration problem and yet have no response to the fact that immigration from outside the EU is the major contributor to the issue but the UK government has not curbed what they can." and "You are of course welcome to keep shouting whatever you want, but I won't be listening and I'd hope that anyone else who read this thread would come to a similar conclusion. "

In answer to your first "point"
I have not "misused numbers", they are numbers that you do not agree with the same as i do not agree with yours.
Secondly, Of course "immigration from outside the EU is the major contributor to the issue", if you had bothered to read my stance over many months/years even you might realise that i would like to see ALL immigration CONTROLLED, the fact that this thread is about the EU, (repeat EU) is why most are concentrating on the immigration issue WITHIN the EU, this is what the voting is for i thought.
Thirdly.
quote: "You are of course welcome to keep shouting whatever you want, but I won't be listening and I'd hope that anyone else who read this thread would come to a similar conclusion."
I am not shouting, seems to be you that is getting upset because i happen to have a different opinion. You may "hope that anyone else that reads this thread would come to a similar position"....hopefully most will make up their own minds without your cajoling whether they agree or not.
I am sorry to inform you that i will keep voicing my opinion, as you probably will, if you do not want to "respond to my posts anymore" fair enough, debating may not be for you....unless of course you have to be agreed with.

well said. i' shall never understand why whenever anyone raises their concern about immigration it always gets misinterpreted as either your an utter racist or you detest immigration full stop.
with some its all or nothing, with me it's CONTROLLED..

HSBC. To stay in London regardless of The EU vote. Knocks all the In theory into touch that London would stop being a financial powerhouse wouldn't you say.

Not at all. I am positive financial clout will seep away in time. A shorter-term outcome is that new banks and companies will choose not to set-up HQ's in London if they haven't done so already.

everyone should watch this

If you cherish democracy and want your vote to mean something where you can change government vote OUT.
If you want to be controlled by an expanding super state where your voice is never heard, you can never vote out the lawmakers and that doesnt bother you vote IN

its very simple

Regardless of any political stance you must understand that RT exists solely and entirely to undermine independent media and weaken Europe and NATO. It exists to create misinformation and sow doubt and it is not a legitimate news source. It is a propaganda mouthpiece for the Kremlin.

This is the majority opinion ask any US pol. Obama very clear on this.

I have read a few different articles on this, seems that Obama and the US government are looking out for themselves, can't blame them really. Maybe if our successive governments had listened to the people and stood up for it's people, this referendum would not have been on the horizon.

Controlled immigration makes sense. But for me, I can't for the life of me think how this would make much more than a dent on EU immigration, if you were to meet the employment need, and attract talent at higher levels of companies, and attract business investment from Europe, and attract rich retirees and similar, I imagine that will account for 95% of current EU immigration. And I'm sure if you completely blocked non-EU immigration we'll probably need to attract more EU residents to compensate. At the very least, I'd certainly be interested in seeing figures.

It's almost like Farage has become an irrelevance. The U.K. Will almost certainly (in my view) vote to leave the EU. The referendum was forced because the tories were being terrorised by UKIP so Nigel's raison d etre has been fulfilled.

I can see him continuing as a political commentator or something but he has ceased to be a voice to listen to for now.

They're looking out for their closest ally pleading with it to retain influence. Same reason the US was against Scottish ref, a strong UK is important to the US.

Yes, they should watch it if they want to be sucked in by RT ( Russia Today ), and help realise the kremlin's geo-political goal of breaking up the EU. :lolol:

Dear me
You could get stuck in and pick apart the points made by Galloway and Farage but instead of dissecting what these two blokes sitting in a studio are saying you choose to have a go at the RT logo in the corner of the screen and therefore dismiss their opinions as invalid.

I can only presume you didnt bother to watch it,RT whether you like it or not offers no editorial opinion in the piece

Hmm, this clip from the article that you posted earlier, "The so-called “special relationship” has already become considerably less so in recent years, with Parliament’s refusal until December to support military action in Syria taking a particularly heavy toll in this regard. Britain has become – and is widely perceived to be – a less dependable and less capable ally",
