Seems attractively long odds to me given England's batting...

Honestly in these kind of conditions, I’d be surprised if England made 150, we are that bad… who is going to score the runs? Basically hoping rain saves us at this point.

Nearly 30 runs from the final wicket pair and Bumrah looking like Brian Lara

At least Sussex are putting on a decent 4 day batting performance. Just a shame it's in a 50 over game

5 wickets for Robinson

Said it for a while. Robinson is a class seam bowler and will be a major performer at international level. Just need one more now. If I had to choose between him and Archer it would be him. His accuracy is McGrath like. A rare talent.

India to bat again?

I don’t think they’ll need to.

Burns and Sibley….

The thing is I don’t even know what I’m hoping for, it’ll take us half a day to knock off the 96 deficit if these two bat long, it’s hard to imagine either of them getting a big score, I’m not saying batting long isn’t a thing but surely you have to at least try to put some pressure on the opposition bowlers.

I've not had much opportunity to see him until this season, but he's clearly class (easy to say when somebody's on 12wickets at about 16 in their test career so far :lolol: ).

I wouldn't like to compare him to Archer, I think they play different roles in the attack. Or at least they do when Archer is fit and hitting the speeds he can do. From an England perspective I'm not sure there's many situations when you need Broad and Robinson in the same team if you have any of Wood, Archer, Woakes etc. available who offer more pace or better batting.

Looking at it from the perspective of someone who had just come into the England set up as a selector, I would have Robinson down as the first bowler on the team sheets. He takes wickets on most surfaces and is very consistent. He doesn't need managing due to age or fitness either. Three years ago I was scratching my head as to why they just couldn't see this. England is such a closed shop.

With the best will in the world, I'm not having him in the team before Anderson.

I'd still pick him in almost any situation (might need a rethink on a turner in India or something).
