If you read interviews from PL forwards most pick out Terry as the hardest to play against. Like most on here I’m not a fan but he was good.

Yes there are taller centre backs than him. But he's the same height as Joel Veltman. Taller than Guehi. Taller than Thiago Silva. And within a centimetre of players like Gvardiol and Romero. People are acting like you're going to need binoculars to see him!

Surely depends on who the scouts are as scouting is subjective. I know a lot of youth scouts and their opinions vary wildly!

Yep. Woodgate was twice the player Terry was in that era. It’s a shame his career was blighted by injury.
