Lewes average is only about 600 and Eastbourne Borough about 800 but its a worry for Albion ifCould potentially make inroads into the Albions support. Lewes gates seem to have levelled off around the 800 mark in the Conference South, but if they go into the Conference proper that could go up. Not sure the Albion have ever had a Conference side that close to them in location.
and cheaper!!The only thing that worries me about that crowd is that it probably contained a fair few people who just turn up and pay on the gate for a couple of games over Christmas and New Year, in days gone by they may have gone to watch the Albion, now a non-league fixture is seen as more appetising.
