Ah, sorry.

I know Roger very well - worked with him for seven years. He has regaled just about about every cricketing tale there is from his time at Sussex. I thought it might have been one I'd passed on to NSC.

I never met him myself but was told that he is a very nice chap!!

If only Minty Goodwin was facing that day!!

1973 Gillette Cup Final, I was there. Snowy was ripping through their top order but we took him off, then Proctor started to smack it around, should have kept him on.

Greig got run out going for a non existant single. every time the ball went to Sheppard in the field we shouted "Two to the Fat man".

Didn't Roger teach you his technique in the nets under the Gilligan stand?

The biggest crime was the four that was not in the '93 final. Big Franklyn quite clearly saved it, but the umpires gave it. The result might have been very different.

My abiding memory of that day was Dermot *spit* Reeve leading Warks singing 'Its got to be Warwick' to the Fairground Attrcation song.

And now it's all going even more t*ts up - we've just lost two wickets and Kent are now 6 down vs Raincashire.

Assuming Yorks draw with maximum points, I reckon we need to get 350 runs at Durham to be sure of going into that final match ahead of them ... if we get less than that and lose, then we'll be 8th come tomorrow evening.

But us and Yorkshire draw these matches and they'll need to beat us to stay up
