Oxlade chamberlain and fabian delph went for 10m didn't they? If they are worth that dunk is worth at least half, can't believe some peoples valuations

Defensive players a not usually worth as much as attacking/creative players.

I dont want to put a damper on things here, but realisticly Dunk is not worth anywhere close to 2m, he is in his first full year as a pro, he has an awful displin record, but at the same time has huge huge talent which needs developing. If the clubs are talking i honestly think it will be in the £500k - £750K bracket with add ons based upon appearances and England appearances.

Are you on drugs? We got £1.5m for Virgo who was half the player. We will get at least that.

Under Your Skin.
People saying they would be happy with Dunk going for 1-2 million, are you serious?

3.5m at the least, or they can do one.

Yeah but that was a contrived deal between McGhee and Strachan.

Can you explain your reasoning for your valuation?

That would be the most unbelievable bit of business ever.

Is Dunk twice the player that Virgo was I am not sure that he is potentially yes but in actual play I wonder. He is no where near as good in the air, much the same on the ground tackling and possibly slightly better in distribution but twice the player

Dunks actual value is probably about the 1m mark. Plenty of potential but doesn't possess too much pace which I think is vital in the PL. we don't have to sell players for actual value though anymore. Dunk has a while on his contract so I'd tell anyone looking for him that anything less than 2.5m + add ons will be laughed off. We really don't need the money anymore.

Exactly, I don't know what 'The Wizard' is thinking when there's Gary Cahill who's starting to get England call ups who's leaving Bolton for 7Mill.

Of course Dunk isn't work £5m, but you can't really fault the logic can you? Similar age (bit older maybe), starting regularly and playing well, in arguably a rarer position to find a young talent. The question isn't his worth, but what we can get for him based on the state of the market.

the logic does not work, Strikers and attacking players always go for more money. DUNK is a tremendous talent, but it is yet to be realised. He needs to stay here and continue his development and play regular football at a very good standard, he is no where near ready for the premiership, he will be in a year or 2, but not now.

Cahill's contract runs out in the summer so Bolton are selling him on the cheap.

By that I presume that you mean plaing in a successful team at the top of the Championship performing week in week out? ;)

Said firmly with tongue in cheak I hasten to add...

He's got to be worth at least £2m + based on his recent inclusion in the U21's squad. Any Premierleague club sniffing around will have spoken to the England set up to get a view on what his current level of ability is compared to the rest of the squad, and then an educated guess as to his future potential, which I happen to believe could be to go all the way to the top with the right coaching set up.
