Are you referring to the Man Utd branch of the PGMOL?

P.S. I also noticed that it was 8 minutes added on time yesterday, as opposed to the default 6 minutes Fergie time. I can only assume it was to try and enable United to score the necessary two goals to draw the game.
No complaints about the 8 mins. The VAR for the dissalowed goal alone must’ve wasted 4-5 mins. Add on the injuries, particularly those after the second goal, and the 30s for each occasion subs were made (4 in total during the 90) then we can’t really complain.

I was being facetious. :lolol:

Assuming it's the same incident then it's covered well here around 5 mins. Confirms what I saw with my own eyes 20 metres away at the time - absolutely nothing in it. Barely even a yellow card for either.

At the 7 min mark of that video you can see Martinez come across and start trying to argue and push Solly, Veltman and JPVH are soon over to back up our boy just like there were for the earlier incident.

If there had been any force to that whatsoever, you can bet your bottom dollar Garnacho would have been on the floor clutching his face and performing a series of impressively gymnastic agony rolls.

The fact that he didn't, tells you that it was the lightest of touches, and only for a split second.

Also can see what someone mentioned earlier - the linesman stepping in and moving Sollys arm. Wonder why he did that given that Solly never touched the guy and only raised his arm to salute the starving children of Africa.

I don't know what some people feel they gain from making excuses for every single thing our players do on the pitch and demonising most of what the opponents do. Like, what makes people think "I'm going to throw all logical thinking out the window and build my world view around this emotion", and that emotion being that players of their own team never do anything wrong ("Veltman isn't cheating, HE'S GAME MANAGING") and that the opponents are always doing everything wrong and should be sent off.

You'd imagine at some point people would think, "hmm, maybe I'm just like the fans of all the other teams and ignore/excuse the actions of my players and demonise the actions of others due to my bias rather than the entire world conspiring against my football club?"

I'm not saying Solly should have a red. I'm saying its always f***ing ridicilous discussing ref decisions on any fan board because people CHOOSE to be illogical, making any debate useless.

Except yet again you're making everything so binary. Fans are always going to be biased - it's the name of the game and this is a BHA forum but no one sensible thinks this should be a red, it's being discussed quite rationally in this thread. Plenty on here have argued this week that Pedro was lucky not to be sent off on Thursday and again plenty could argue that Baleba was lucky not to be sent off giving away the penalty yesterday. No one on here seriously thinks the refs have a vendetta against Brighton (Attwell excepted) although it's a discussion point as to whether so called bigger teams get more decisions in their favour whether that's due to increased crowd pressure or the fear of repercussions over an unfavourable decisions from a high profile manager/player etc. In any case, having a pop at refs is all part of the fun at the ground - viewed dispassionately of course it's all slightly silly.
