At this rate he'll be making an executive order to remove

Emma Lazarus', "The New Colossus" from the Statue Of Liberty.

...because that would upset the libtards.

Unbelievable to start getting abuse.
I dont disagree with anybody on this and just try and learn about something I consider is a big threat to world peace.
There seems to have been no progress in 3 years and just asked even with the supply of enough weapons have the Ukrains got enough troops to keep going for any length of time.
Will now be off this thread and look elsewhere to educate myself about this.

I replied to your questions, so feel free to read that.

We’re getting a lot of answers to the question of what people today would have done if they were living in 1930s Germany
I keep wondering if I'm living through a surreal repeat of the rise of 1930s Germany. Then I think how ridiculous, America? But then I come back to it. We're living in very interesting times, unfortunately. Got to think, if only it had been an inch to the right..

Attack Donald Trump and his utter bullshit as much as you want, but please don't attack each other.

Being abusive and calling other NSCers names will see you off this thread and/or the site.

Thanks.

You don't need this.

Close it down for a a few days.

The vast majority of people would fully understand and respect your decision.

Right now it looks really bad, but we'll probably learn a lot more in the next few months. I cannot believe that those in high positions in the military and secret service are going to sit idly by while Trump turns the US into a Russian state. Even those who have been removed from their positions will be looking at what can be done. They'll be watching Trumps actions closely.
Fingers crossed. He's removed anyone that stood up to him last time

Personally, I think there will only REALLY be peace when Russia has control of Ukraine. Or enough of Ukraine to keep Putin happy, before he goes and invades another country as part of his quest to build USSR 2.0. As I've said before, it wouldn't surprise me if Trump helped him with that, financially.

Putin is now 72, he will not be in charge forever. Question here, is what will the succession be? Over the decades Vlad has disposed of anyone deemed as a threat to his Presidency, there is no obvious future candidate outside his party, and most likely only sycophants within. If you observe Russian history you cannot fail to be aware of the need for strong-arm leaders, see Ivan the Great, Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great, Catherine the Great, Stalin, Putin. However, there is not an inexhaustible supply of them and inevitably the strongest can often be followed by chaos due to the decimation inflicted by the previous strong-arm ruler

I'm watching some 'good' people in the Senate discuss Ukraine who quite clearly think Trump is wrong. I suppose it depends whether their voices are loud enough to get through & the tide to turn.
Unfortunately I have no faith that the 'good US citizens' have any influence on matters at the moment. I'd also suggest there are good people in Iran and in Afghanistan and probably in Russia. There were probably good people in Germany during the 30s!

I blocked you for a while because I was bored shitless by you finding a silling reason to post a 'these are' message so frequently. You talk about meaningful insight or input but before you know it:

:ffsparr:
Hey, I never said *I* provided meaningful insight! I'm fully aware that I often post a load of nonsense. Sorry for boring you but, in case you want to block me again, I'm not going to change.

Wow, you've totally fallen for Russian propaganda
Er, I haven't fallen for anything, Trig. I'm just being realistic.

Putin invaded Ukraine for a specific reason and he's not about to back out in the name of 'peace' without getting what he originally went for.

Word is, the next President will be little-known former Russian snooker professional, Inov the Red
