I can't help thinking that he might have a little vomit when he gets back on the plane, but he knows he has played the right hand. He couldn't confront Trump and say what he felt because it would have made it worse.

Great job by Sir Kier.Starmer seems to have played an absolute blinder today.
Did exactly what he had to do - suck up and play to Trump's ginormous ego at every opportunity.
Pushed away the Andrew Tate and Canada questions and played everything else with a straight bat.
Trump being Trump, had it been less harmonious behind the scenes, he would absolutely have said so, and let everyone know he was the big man in charge calling the shots.
