Elon Musk has many faults and has made many mistakes. The accusation that on the world's biggest stage yesterday he did three Hitler salutes is absurd and cheapens the currency around real fascists and Nazis #ElonMusk

This is from George Galloway and I couldn't agree more

I am still a bit shocked that yesterday I was called a Nazi sympathizer

Oh poor you, you sympathised with a Nazi and someone had the gall to call you a Nazi symapthiser? Do you need a hug? :(

Of course, if he didn't want it to be potentially misconstrued he would've been immediately falling over himself to explain categorically that it was NOT a Nazi salute.

He's done that, right? Completely disowned that idea? Right?

Thought as much.

The thing is, more than 80 million Americans don't care.

I am pretty confident that a majority of Germans were four square behind Hitler for many years
Promise people things and a large section of The People are happy to turn a blind eye to literally anything.
I recon Trump could flop his tiny penis on his desk in front of the cameras, declaring this is why America will be great, and it wouldn't dent his popularity,
More popular than Hilter in 1933 and Johnson in 2019, we're definitely in 5th Avenue territory

That made it sound like you compared the perpetrator of the biggest genocide in recorded history and a bumbling, pervy old incompetent as being equals.

I literally feel sorry for you, it must be really difficult to share a football chat room with a Nazi sympathiser

In actual fact maybe you should report NSC as many people that use this board might also be Nazis by your definition

Not sure it would be great for ad revenues for this board to have Nazi undertones but you crack on

Thanks for the hug offer but I'm fine thanks

I wonder if all the people saying "we must be careful about labelling Musk as a Nazi" remain so circumspect when anything remotely progressive is labelled as communism by the right. I feel like I already know the answer to that though.

Not going to make any apologies for this: Anyone questioning whether the billionaire who supports the German Neo-Nazi party, says Jews are conspiring against white people, and throws Hitler salutes on stage is really a Nazi knows exactly what they're doing. And I know what they're doing too, but Jean-Paul Sartre put it better than I could.

If, as has been suggested by some of his defenders, he was "giving his heart out" to all those he was addressing the natural way to do that is with a "scattering seed" arm movement with the open palm remaining facing sideways throughout the movement. Its certainly not enacted with a sudden forward thrust of the arm with the palm facing downwards.

Try them for yourself and see which one feels the most natural for conveying that message.

When you do I can guarantee that when you do the Musk version you'll be thinking to yourself "this feels a bit like a nazi salute", and you wouldn't need to do it two more times (like Musk did) just to make sure.

To recreate the experiment one may need some chemical assistance.

Wow, that was quite powerful and quite brave of her when she could have just kept her head down and acted as yet another "Christian" enabler of his Christian charade. I bet he didn't see that coming, a Christian who actually extols the true values of Christianity.

He must have been fuming. Has he reacted to this?
He's issued another executive order changing the text of the King James bible to include reference to 'the future state of America' and it's creation as God's favoured country and the right of that country to f*ck over every other country, race or religion.

Still waiting on Musk's robust disavowal that he did a Nazi salute, isn't it seriously worrying you that he hasn't disowned it?

Don’t think he will personally, it’s not very “alpha male” to explain yourself…
It's also a very handy distraction at the moment.

It is.

Trump as usual totally lacking in self awareness when he states, "She brought her church into the World of politics in a very ungracious way".

He's the one who first decided to introduce Christianity as a prominent part of his political campaign and he did so in an extremely ungracious and exploitative way.

@Herr Tubthumper was saying that right wing parties advocate freedom but at the same time think they can tell women what to do with their bodies, which is the opposite of freedom.

I am not following what you are implying about yourself (unless you are an American woman, and imagine that being arrested for seeking an abortion is perfectly OK).

And I have no idea what the Labour party has to do with it.

Sorry if I'm not reading between your lines. Alas such lines are often unclear to me.
Tubthumper threw in reference to the Tories and that's where I don't get clarity. I am not much interested in the crackpot and his cohorts that are now in power in the good ol US of A!

He, Trump, Trump Jnr and all the rest of them will never apologise, take responsibility or admit to making a mistake about anything.

They literally don't give a shite what people think or about what they do or the implications of it all. They could not care less about the optics or the ensuing chat/arguments about it.

How/why people lap it all up is beyond me, but there we go...
