Or perhaps he just missed.

Take your pick.

I don't think that they actually do. I think some don't care, some haven't made the connection, and some have convinced themesleves that the billionaire son of a millionaire who cheated his way through his private school, private Ivy League college education and subsequent business career supported by the richest men on the planet is actually the underdog. :nono:
Yeah, I was being facetious with that point so I could tee up another reason why they have just elected the orange oaf again.

The US electorate has always struck me as more clear-minded over voting for who appears best to suit the self-interest than the Brits, where a large proportion who vote 'socialist' do so knowing it will probably disadvantage their middle class pocket, but figure that some sort of greater good will be obtained, while a significant proportion of the less well-off vote tory because they hope and expect the social strata below them will get a good kicking, and are prepared to tolerate a bit of pain themselves in the process. There are other factors of course - fear of foreigners taking what's 'mine' being one, versus idealistic internationalism on the other hand.

The fact they have gone and elected Trump again suggests to me mainly that tens of millions felt their self interest was better served under Trump than it was under Biden.

Who am I to tell them they are mistaken?
And so it goes.

Hopefully this will be win/win for Trump skeptics.

Either the world is saved and everyone is living in peace hand in hand, which is obviously good, or it's the same shit in 4-years, or worse, in which case we'll be able to say told you so.
