Anyway they are coming down to the Dome in November.

they sang "Horse with no name" and "Ventura Highway", amongst others. they ere very much middle of the road type stuff, but it shoudl be worth seeing them.

I have heard of them and have also stayed in a motel on the Ventura Highway.

Yup I believe that they were a band formed by US military people's sons stationed in germany...

I take it this going to a short concert where you recognise one song, all the others sound the same and then after much footstomping and clapping they come back and do A horse with no name as an encore???:p

Were they related to Hobo, who had a dog named 'Boo'?

Don't forget to call out for their huge hit 'Muskrat Love' - it's the one where they smash all their equipment up.

I used to own the album of America's "Greatest Hit", and seem to remember there are a few duff filler tracks on it that would induce anyone to climb onstage and smash all their equipment up...

Annoyingly having tried to forget this prime example of 'Wimp Rock' the future Mrs BHA has one of their numbers (not one of the better known tunes) has her favourite tune :(
