Anyone planning to see this band should go and see them here http://www.roundhouse.org.uk/whats-on instead of the Dome. Don't get me wrong the Dome is a pretty good venue but I went to the Roundhouse to see Editors last month and the venue is AWESOME!

Can't think of a venue i've been to that sounded better than there!

Does anyone remember an obscure band from the eighties called the Lotus Eaters? They had one hit single, entitled The First Picture Of You.

Formed by Jeremy Kelly after the very wonderful Wild Swans split up.

Then when the Lotus Eaters split he went back and reformed the Wild Swans (because an old John Peel session they'd made in 1982 made them posthumously famous...)

Anyone who likes that Lotus Eaters song is well-advised to check out The Wild Swans. Or their other spin-off band, Care (which also featured a pre-Lightning Seeds Ian Broudie). Liverpool bands of the 80s were soooo incestuous...
