The old man just text and said there's a small piece in the Mirror stating that Dobbie has been told he can leave and that Palace are ready to make an offer this Jan. I'm sitting in my car so can't find the link but I have found this that wraps up most of the days' national newspaper sports headlines. I know we had a thread on this last week so I wouldn't be surprised if someone is causing a bit of mischief. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened either. What a strange strange state of affairs this Dobbie saga has been.

I thought all the stuff with Hoskins was strange but if Dobbie goes (sold or loan) it will trump that for oddity

If It Is true this goes to prove Palace are a charity case going through the freebie wheelie bin. First Muzza, Then the cheerleader and now Possibly Dobbie In which my opinion Is he was never really given a fair shot here. This maybe a case where it bites us In the ass again. D:

Desperate deadline day 'we must get a striker in' signing.
Not really worked out.
Largest earner at the club.
New striker in who will get a lot of game time.

"Off you trot Dobbie" makes some sense, I think.

Holloway is a great admirer of Dobbie having had him at Blackpool but I cant see that we will get the money back for him that we paid irrespective of how much it was we paid.

Get rid doesn't fit in here at all, not concerned about him going to Palace either as long as we get a half decent price for him.

Simple , the figure was undisclosed , we just tell Palace a price that is double what we paid for him

The Championship.
I think Dobbie still has alot to offer with us. I'd be a bit gutted if he was to leave because you only have to look at what he done at Swansea and Blackpool to see he can score goals, especially in the big games.
