On loan to Tranmere, I think.
I never trusted him after his praise of Caicedo.. I remember him saying that if he'd been Brazilian there would have been an extra 0 after his fee. Utter piffle

He will hit the ground running!
Not good enough! We need him to hit the ground rolling over, with a little (but not over the top) scream, and clutching his head to get play stopped when they've broken through our press. Professionals we need, not amateurs who just play football!

(I think I'm getting the hang of this PL thing now) ..........................

Assume all the paperwork is ready to go and will just need submitting as soon as transfer window opens. Not sure how long international clearance take and if would be available for the Arsenal game.

My understanding is he's already been training with us for a few weeks now, and as soon as the 1st hits the paperwork is ratified and he's ready to play.

In theory straight into the squad as he's gone from playing regularly in previous club, straight into training with us. Should already have match fitness etc.

Can’t wait for his debut in April once he’s bought into “the process” and shaken off the inevitable “slight knock”

Is that some inside info or a guess? Had been wondering if he was already training. Didnt see him in any training photos.
Probably not (technically) allowed? Just having an informal (unfilmed) kickabout with his new mates, on the other hand......................................

Read it from Brighton directly somewhere.

As I understand it, there's nothing stopping you training with anyone, and rightly so as would be impossible to stop/police.

If the owning club allows it, then the employee (the player) can do it. It's why/how players or even other individuals can trial at another club, join a training session etc.

The only issue is you can't play any official games unless you are properly registered.

Well, assuming the club have obtained that person's work permit, of course (otherwise they would be breaching the UK's regulations).

I assumed he’d been using our facilities as a non employee up until his employment starts on 01/01/2025

Wonder if he had to have a gym induction?
