f***ing VIENETTA over B&B Pud? You're all f***ing MENTAL (yeah and you're all chavs)!

You're not fücking wrong. If B&B doesn't make it out of this group, it'll be a big shock. If it gets beaten by a dessert out of a fookin' TUB, then methinks its a fix.

C'mon B&B, bring it home with a late surge!

Three hours to go and an exciting three way tie in the race for much coveted second spot.

Will the guilty pleasure of the Viennetta see off the challenges from big guns bread & butter pudding and spotted dick?

This is an outrage.

Viennetta is 99p 'mum went to Iceland' shite. Whoever is responsible for this should be very ashamed.

(I'll fix the poll late on if NSCers don't do the decent thing)

Wow... things have changed in the past 7 years or so. The problem with B&B pudding is that it doesn't taste very nice - which is fundamental in my book

Indeed, I think the clue is in the name, "bread" and "butter" doesn't exactly fill me with excitement and I'm always right in my scepticism.

That is the trick of the Bread and Butter pudding. It should taste - well, bread and butter, but the magic is in the sugar and milk (and sultanas). It is a delight. But still not enough to trouble the Lemon Merangue.

Please Tim, I beg you: make everyone's day and give everyone a useful pre-Ashes snigger and tell us that Vienn-bloody-etta - a dessert that a hungry Kerry Katona would turn her coke-addled nose up at - is considered vaguely sophisticated in Australia. Please.

Well done for this - a poll contest that I can feel clean by joining in with.

Not a great group but B&B for me (although all bar spotted dick and vienetta would have got a vote)

Oh BTW stumpy, do you think that Tub Italiano was also the height of cold cream cuisine?

not forgetting the lashings of custard which can go on top. Although I went for spotted dick. For a similar reason.

I'm loving the fact that Tim is getting SHAT on for suggesting Viennetta was top tuck. But to be fair, who suggested it? That's right, it was Crodo.

And it is chav food and yet 29 people have voted for it. How I wish I remembered the "view voters" option as I did with group B. :jester:

Interesting that LM has failed to pick up any votes and with two hours remaining, it is firmly a three horse race for those two spaces.

Don't worry - I'll be getting that information from the nether regions of NSC and taking appropriate action against those involved.
