Wow... things have changed in the past 7 years or so. The problem with B&B pudding is that it doesn't taste very nice - which is fundamental in my book

Indeed, I think the clue is in the name, "bread" and "butter" doesn't exactly fill me with excitement and I'm always right in my scepticism.

That is the trick of the Bread and Butter pudding. It should taste - well, bread and butter, but the magic is in the sugar and milk (and sultanas). It is a delight. But still not enough to trouble the Lemon Merangue.

I'm loving the fact that Tim is getting SHAT on for suggesting Viennetta was top tuck. But to be fair, who suggested it? That's right, it was Crodo.
And it is chav food and yet 29 people have voted for it. How I wish I remembered the "view voters" option as I did with group B.

This (I think) is Nigella's take on B&B Pudding. Elevated to something else altogether by removing the 'bread' and replacing it with 'Pain au Chocolat'.
