Indeed. The sea air and lovely messages have cured him.
Got into his stride towards the end of the season and has clearly worked hard to adapt. Waited patiently for his chance and took it. This coupled with him being a popular character in the dressing room by all accounts makes me think he wasn't happy at being told he'd likely be an impact sub next season so the club let him go.
My first guess on hearing the news.

Yep. This makes proper sense.
I’m surprised how many are surprised by this. I like Undav and it was great to see him come good at the end of the season, he’s a great finisher, but I just can’t see him getting many minutes, even with the extra games.
Even without him, for the two front positions he would play, we’ve still got three players for the front focal point:
Welbeck
Ferguson
Joao Pedro
And three others for the slightly more withdrawn central role which can and will at times obviously be filled by the above too:
Buonanotte
Lallana
Enciso
Plus Adingra can play up front and Gross can play further forward too. We’re reportedly looking for a wide right player which would also reduce his potential game time further.
If it’s true, it would make sense to me. I don’t think we need both of Undav and Buonanotte - I would have loaned out Buonanotte personally - but if it’s Undav then so be it.

To continue : if this news is not bollocks do you honestly think the club would have selected him for the squad to play in the U.S. Summer Series against Chelsea and Brentford?
It would be a shame to lose Old Ma Undav

If we're going to lose him why not just a straight sale? Seems a bit pointless to loan him.

No we don't, we play with two strikers where they alternate between dropping deep and being the focal point, or both drop.
It's like having two half striker half attacking mids.

Deniz did a great job for us, but i don't think RDZ really trusted him.
I think we have enough attacking options, assuming we lose nobody else.

Welbeck who missed 5 squads last season through injury?
We play 4-4-3 including an attacking midfielder like Llalanna or a forward in a support role. Plenty of You Tube videos available to see how we play. We definitely don’t play with 2 players as strikers ( focal point up front)
