Well, I’ve already got a hotel booked, 10 points doesn’t really bother me but £29.50 for a child? f*** sake, Liverpool was £9 for the boy (IIRC)
I'd rather they just said £30.00 flat rate, no discount, rather then £29.50. Same as you, the points are neither here nor there, but that price is a piss take.

This reduction in concessions is growing. West Ham also a piss take, although you need young eyes to see the far goal.

Does anyone know if home club keep the away fan revenue?

Agree that BHA need to respond in kind to these clubs.

Gate receipts are not shared in the PL to the best of my knowledge so all ticket revenue is kept by the home team.

Looking at the info for when Brentford visit the Amex, over 65s and U21s are paying £26 a ticket but u18s are only paying £18. I would imagine that’s our pricing for most away fans for PL games.

The dull part of the south coast
Yet in other countries, Spain being a good example, the away allocations are minuscule. I went to the Seville derby at Real Betis with 60,000 in. I reckon there were under 1,000 in the away fans section. It seems to be similar even at the Classico.

One thing that is different there is that you do get a bit more mixing of fans and so there seemed to be a fair smattering of Sevilla fans around the stadium who jumped up at the relevant times. That just doesn’t happen here and if it does they seem to get ejected/filled in/both.
My daughter worked in Madrid for three years and used to watch Atletico Madrid, and sometimes Real. She said the main difference between English and Spanish fans is that the Spanish do not do away days like we do. Alcohol is low on the list of match day experience, smoking weed in the stadium is prevalent as is eating monkey nuts with the shells scattered everywhere. The one ‘must’ for taking to the ground is a newspaper as most grounds do not have a roof covering the stands - the paper is to cover the pigeon shit on the seats, presumably the birds attracted by discarded nuts! :drink:
