I had a ticket for Liverpool Away a couple of weeks ago - was rough as f*ck all week and despite getting up and getting ready to go - I had to call it off on the day. The lad and I revieved a grand total of 0 points between us… as it should be 
Would have been lovely if we still got them but I completely agree you should get the points for attending matches not for buying tickets.
