So did we ask to move the Brentford game, or just happy for it to moved.
Didn't we ask for a boxing day game (possibly the one against Brentford in 2021) to be moved a few seasons back and were told no, tough luck. I'm guess the fact Amazon have that weeks games and they don't really want to show an empty Amex on Boxing Day has facilitated the move this time.

The trains to Leicester look fun on the 8th... A 3ish hour journey from London due to replacement buses from Luton. There would have been issues on the Saturday but going via Nuneaton would have been an easy solve, doesn't seem to be available on the Sunday though.

Dread to think how bad the Sunday service on Avanti will be for United.

Villa isn't even do-able by train.

Three decent aways ruined by the PL/broadcasters, brilliant
Jeez. The beauty of Leicester is it's an hour from London. Now it's three hours. Sake

This is getting silly now, why can't the TV companies sit down when the season's fixtures are announced, and release the TV games for game weeks 1 to 18 before the season starts.

This would enable fans to sort out cheaper trains etc, the TV companies can then move games later in the season to pick title and relegation deciders with the limited announcement period.

For those interested in the Leicester trains, try London to Leicester, but via Nuneaton. Those trains are fine and not extortionate. No rail replacement buses. Two hours from London so not too bad.

Cheers - that route wasn't showing up when I had a quick look on Trainline earlier. Still a 2hr+ journey from Euston.. ballache
