The job David Weir was linked with in recent weeks was for the CEO role at Everton.

It is now being widely reported that Everton are expected to appoint Leeds United's CEO Angus Kinnear at the end of this season.

I think that the only role Weir would have considered is the Everton role, but it appears he has chosen to stay at Brighton as part of a golden triangle with TB and PBOBE.

According to this (possibly rubbish) they want him as their Director of Football. Their current Head of Football - Kevin Thelwell - is leaving at the end of the season.
