I've no idea how much credibility the rumour has but I have to say, reading about the their new stadium, and seeing the positive impact of Moyes, Everton does seem like a club on the up at the moment, and you can see why anyone would fancy being in at the start of this new era in a senior management position.

...except that it doesn't seem to end well (other than financially!) for some former employees after they leave the Albion....

Well before kick off for the Everton home games Moyes and Wier had a good 20 minute catch up chat at pitch side

Ashworth likes building everything from scratch, so on paper Everton his ideal next job

But who knows we may get DA back who then decides to never leave again!

It’s obvious he’ll go, but what is more worrying, is we always hear what a fantastic club we are, how well run we are and we’re such an amazing club to be involved with……..yet never does anyone come out and say…..no I’m not going to (whoever) I love it at the Albion, they’re always very keen to jump ship at the first opportunity!

Are we a bit of a soft touch ?
I’ve mentioned this before, none of us have ever worked for Barber/TB in a major role. It could be a different story from the smiles and snippets we get. Not saying it is mind.

I can only imagine the sinking feeling and a glance at the watch to see what the time is, followed by a glance at the calendar to see what day it is, when Barber says, can I have a quick word.

No one makes it big in the World of business without having the ability to be ruthless when needed.

Back on subject, can’t see Everton having the ability to be a draw for PB. TB has well and truly tied him down to full emotional and financial engagement with BHA and that is one of TB’s great attributes.
David Weir, different due to his relationship with Moyes and his family being based in the North West.
Sure we’ll be pushing for as much compensation as possible from Everton as I expect Weir will go.

Was Dan Ashworth a “good leaver” or “bad leaver” in TB’s eyes do we think? If the former, I don’t think it’s impossible he could come back. As others have said, none of us really has an idea on his skill set or what’s required but it felt like our recruitment was at its slickest under him

Joel. Veltman
Lamptey
JPVH
Welbeck
Webster

I would say successful also adding .Cucurella, Mwepu and Lallana into the mix.

All of the flops have been relatability cheaper buys.

Whilst the rest of the office staff awkwardly try to look busy when PB’s on the prowl. How many of our supporters have you lot banned today he bellows as they squirm in their padded office chairs, I told you lot it’s about the tourists now get them fecking numbers up.

My point exactly, we never try and keep what we’ve got and allow other clubs to take what they want.
At some point letting our staff just wander off to whoever flashes their knickers at them is going to bite us on the arse badly !
The only person we’ve thrown more money at and made it difficult for him to leave is PB

Was kind of expecting Wier to go at some point, especially with the new stadium and connections up there.
Could be a tough job though, all smiles at the moment but expectations will be on the up with Moyes' upturn in form and the new shiny new gaff. They'll want Europe to show it off. As we have seen from Spurs, West Ham and I guess in some extent Arsenal, sometimes moving to place isn't all roses once the novelty wears off.

We also have no idea how many people have been offered other jobs and said exactly that without ‘coming out’ and saying it. It’s not something most would likely go public with.
